Well Sweet and Elite atleast showed Rarity fixed hers so I'd assume she did the same for her friend as she's the Element of Generosity.

Though it makes you wonder if they'll ever need to wear them again cause I'm not sure if the'll wanna go to the Gala again.

but consider that in 'sweet and elite' she (rarity) compared its 'garden party' as the '...second most important event next to the GRAND GALLOPING GALA' there for Rarity would attend (business and pleasure i am sure) to help maintain her reputation and if anything to see her good friend fancy pants

for all we know they could have (a episode where they return but nothing happens is after all dull.) but both arguments hold.
